This is a tool that calculates the electric power, current or voltage.

The tool is multi-directional and, therefore, determines the information that needs to be calculated based on which data has been entered. In other words, if two out of the voltage, current or power are entered, the tool calculates the remaining one. When further data changes are made, the tool re-calculates the same power related factor unless that factor is itself changed or a different data field is cleared.

In more detail, the information that can be entered and/or calculated is:

• The voltage. This does not need to be in any specific unit but the unit should be consistent with the units of current and power, e.g. volts, amps and watts.
• The current. This does not need to be in any specific unit but the unit should be consistent with the units of voltage and power, e.g. milliamps, volts and milliwatts.
• The power. This does not need to be in any specific unit but the unit should be consistent with the units of voltage and current (see above).
