This is a tool that enables you to convert between eight different temperature units and display the units on a scale.

The temperature units available for conversion are: Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin, Reaumur, Romer, Rankine, Newton and Delisle. If a temperature is entered in any one of these units, the tool converts it into all the others.

For a more graphical view of the relation between the units, a scale is provided. Useful information to know about the scale includes:

• The scale can be displayed or hidden by clicking on the Show/Hide Scale toggle button.
• The scale displays three units by default but it is possible to switch this to two, or vice versa, by clicking on the Hide/Show Scale Unit 3 toggle button.
• A line is shown to indicate the unit values matching those in the conversion boxes.
• The range of unit values displayed on the scale can be configured by altering the range for the first scale unit.
• The first unit shown on the scale matches, by default, the last updated unit in the conversion boxes.
